Meet Ali Saleh
Dear Friends,
It is with great enthusiasm and honor that I am announcing my candidacy for City Council of Bell. I’ve pondered on the decision for a very long time, and after much reflection, come to believe that this is the next milestone for me and the city of Bell. I ask for your support in the upcoming election.
I have been a resident of Bell for more than thirty years, and have been very active in local city affairs and its proceedings. My parents have always preached to me the importance of having a say in our surroundings. In addition, their teachings have taught me to be a leader and have led me to take this important step.
I write to you as a father of three young boys, who has every incentive to make Bell a safe and pleasant place to live in. I feel a strong obligation to make a positive difference to safeguard our families. I am committed to serving our residents and ensuring that City of Bell continues to be a safe, stable community for all.
Moreover, I have owned and operated a clothing business for more than a decade and have reaped from it the attributes of a leader as well as the experience. I have the skill to communicate effectively and attention to organization and detail to ensure that nothing is overlooked in our city.
Bell is an extremely diverse city with more than a dozen nationalities and faiths. We lead by example in how to live, respecting each others belief. It is a city that embraces every resident and their needs. This legacy needs to be maintained. It must be a city for all equally and entirely. In essence, it has to be a city that works for everyone.
As city councilman in Bell, I will not only promote change but lead by example. My goal is to make public safety and quality of life issues the top priorities for our city government. I will ensure Bell is known and sought out for our safe communities and public schools. Furthermore, I will work to attract business and create jobs and preserve existing ones. To operate efficiently, I will be fiscally prudent with our city budget and will work closely with residents to support the economic development our city needs. I will also guarantee that our Bell Police officers will have the resources they need to continue to look after our safety. I promise you that our city government will be run effectively with the need of every Bell resident in mind.
I will be the first to take this step, and I ask you to follow. I believe in the power of a group, open communication and resolve. Let’s share in one vision and make Bell a better place for everyone- you, me and our families together.
I would be honored to have your vote on March 3rd.
Sincerely,
Ali Saleh
